Looking for Liverpool to 'BeMoneywise' |
11 March 2010 |
|
Help is on hand for Liverpool residents to get FREE independent, impartial and confidential advice on a wide range of issues surrounding benefit entitlement and debt issues.
Whilst millions of viewers are currently gripped by the Coronation Street storyline which sees Joe and Gail McIntyre struggling to pay off his ever increasing debt – they should have had taken a look at a fantastic government funded initiative 'Be Moneywise' to help them wise up to their financial problems.
The BeMoneywise service is delivered by The Regenda Group on behalf of Liverpool City Council. The service provides free independent and confidential advice and assistance on a wide range of issues surrounding debt, money guidance, benefits, tax and pension credits, disability benefits, and multiple debt.
Angela Smart, Regenda's Regeneration Initiatives Manager said, "Financial problems and mounting debt can seem like the end of the world and cause a great deal of stress. But the BeMoneywise service has been set up to help local people by providing free independent and impartial advice surrounding debt and benefit.
Whenever anyone contacts us they can be assured that we will be working for their best interest in order to resolve their query. They can call about any matter relating to money and debt advice and we will always be on hand to help either on the phone, meeting at a local office or even visiting them at home.
This really is a great opportunity for anyone in Liverpool to sort out their financial issues and we are here to help them."
