Corrie comes to Rochdale! |
19 December 2009 |
|
Wardleworth residents will have some special visitors to their 'patch' on 9th December 2009 as Nikki Patel (who plays Amber Kalirai jn Coronation Street - Dev's daughter) and Marcquelle Ward, (who played Mitch, Amber's boyfriend) will be at the Wardleworth Community Centre in Rochdale to launch the first of the Regenda Group's Residents Reunited events.
Nikki and Marcquelle who are both local to the area, will be on hand to meet and chat to residents from 11.30 to 12.00 at the Community Centre, as well as signing autographs and posing for photos.
Andy Carberry, Head of Business Excellence at the Regenda Housing Group, who spearheaded the Residents Reunited campaign explains; "The aim of the Regenda Residents Reunited customer consultation event is for us to 'reunite' with as many of our residents as possible - so we can get to know them better and check the information we have about them is up to date. This is the first of many Regenda Residents Reunited events that will be coming out to our neighbourhoods in 2010."
Regenda staff from all areas of the organisation will mobilised to spend a day in the Rochdale neighbourhood and over 120 homes will be called on during the day. Hundreds of residents will be asked to complete a short survey, checking that the services Regenda provide are delivered in ways that meet their residents requirements. Additional information will also be handed out to residents to sign post them to useful local services.
The aim of the day is to collect information relating to contact numbers, email addresses, age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability and sexuality. By doing this residents will be helping Regenda to improve their services to them, as Regenda will then be able to contact different groups of people about the things that will be of specific interest to them.
Residents who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win an early Christmas present of £50 shopping vouchers. |
